Merwin was born in October 6, 1963 at Barangay Masudsud, Sibale Island, Province of Romblon, located in the Central part of the Philippines. Merwin is the eldest child of Celso and Angelica Mosquera.

In 1991, Merwin came to Saudi Arabia and was initially hired as Executive Secretary.  Presently, he is working as a Cost Analyst and assigned in Northern Area Projects Department/Offshore Projects Division of Saudi Aramco, Saudi Arabia.

Prior to this, he was employed as a Clerk Typist from 1989 to 1991 with Carpio Villaraza & Cruz Law offices at Legaspi Village, Makati, Metro Manila, Philippines.

With almost 14 years exposures on computer environment, both in project management and legal: general accounting, bookkeeping, administrative, secretarial, clerical, website designing, computer assembly, computer networking, computer trouble shooting and preventative maintenance are my interest and expertise.  Also, Merwin is very well conversant in Microsoft Windows (from Windows 3.1 to Windows XP Professional) and Microsoft Offices (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access, FrontPage). Merwin's highest educational attainment is "BSC-Accounting", graduated from Arellano University in 1984.  Also, he studied "AB-Political Science" from Far Eastern University. Furthermore, he completed a short computer course - "Computer Technician" - from the Philippine Women's University in 1986.

Married to Teresa Torres of Camiling, Tarlac in December 11, 1993, the Lord blessed them with three (3) children: two (2) boys and one (1) girl.  The name of their eldest son is Jireh Paolo, born in August 31, 1994.  The second one is John Simon, his nickname is "Jehu", born in September 03, 1996.  The third one is Shekinah Gracia, her nickname is "Yannah", born in February 04,  2000.  They are all cute!

The family's residence is  at Windward Hills Subdivision, Dasmarinas, Cavite, Philippines.  Their telephone number is 63 (46) 506-2146. As like most Sibalenhons,  from time to time he goes back to Sibale Island to visit her birthplace and relatives.
